The “Completely Pointless” Royal Pain

I think the royal family is a completely pointless relic of a bygone age so when they went crazy over a wedding, for one of their beloved Princes, I thought even more less of them. The Wedding took a day just like a normal wedding in the US but it cost over two billion dollars ,that could of been put towards a better cause, and was televised over and over again. Then those people had the nerve to show the “Royal Wedding Highlights” repeatedly over an entire weekend of my life, one which I shall truly never get back. There was no reason we needed to know about the wedding. The people over there were just throwing the curious people of the United states a CURIOUS bone, knowing that over half the United States of CURIOUSITY that we are are going to grab it. I mean the person who caused 9 freaking 11 was killed and yet I bet we wont have an entire weekend dedicated to how the U.S. possibly just started WWIII or peace for the time being. It is with great power and freedom of speech that I tell the world just how much I didn’t like the “Royal Pain” of a wedding between whats there names. _Terrance_

Question #3 – Osama bin Laden’s death.

Personally, i believe that giving Osama bin Laden a burial at sea was not the proper thing to do. There are a lot of reasons why i believe this. First off, from what everyone understands they found this guy unarmed. If you were the most wanted man in the world why would you go anywhere without a gun or a weapon? What if this was just a trap? What if this guy wasn’t bin Laden? We should have kept his body and done test to make sure it was him and not just a similar looking guy.

Bin Laden or Royal Wedding ?

What event was more impacting ? in my opinion, Bin Laden was. Bin Laden’s media impact became way more talked about, nationally & globally. It was all over every news site, a lot of websites and even was featured on the ESPN website. Osama being killed is a huge plot of what the government has been trying to accomplish in the past two years. As part of his culture, instead of being buried in the ground, Bin Laden was thrown into the ocean. Unlike this death, the Royal Wedding was not really as much globally popular. People all over the world found out about this event. Basically, the media hopped into Osama’s assassination as soon as it hit wind, and it was a hundred percent worth it.

Osama Bin Laden

I am Erica from Sal’s period 9 20th Century. As we all know, Osama Bin Laden has been declared dead. Because of this many places around the world have highered security in fear of retaliation. I believe that there could be some kind of attack. However, the United States is pretty secured, as of right now. Also, if Osama was the best leader that they had then I really dont think they could do too much harm. The U.S. basically has alot of control over the world.

Osama Bin Laden

This is Austin Form pd 6 20th.On May 1’st 2011Osama bin Ladenwas confirmed dead in a compound in Pakistan. Throught the joint efforts of the JSOC operatives and the pakistinian military Osama bin Laden was found and killed. The reaction to his death in the United States is generally good althought some people see it as point less. I see his death as a major moral booster for the troups of the united states and all of america as a whole. Eaven thought this is a great victory there will still be turmoil in pakistan and aginst the US from supporters of al qaeda.

Osama Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden is known around the world as the guy who was in charge of September 11. He was made the Top ten most wanted in the world. Osama was a leader of Al-Qaeda when they knocked the Towers down. George Bush could never catch the Great Osama becuase Bush had no idea were he was at. Osama death is a huge thing in America because we been after him for like nine years and we finally caught him. I hope Obama is ready to end the war in the next few months. Osama’s death is way bigger than the royal wedding. The royal wedding has nothing to do with America and we have no business in caring about the wedding in my eyes. Osama’s death should a a parade cermony in America. Its a great day to be an American.

Osama Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden is on the FBI’s most wanted for a long time, and now they finally got him. He was reponsible for the attacks on Septemper 11, 2001 and bombing  in London, France and Spain. He had the whole entire world pretty much after him. The mideastern countries had a different idea of him. They thought he was good and did nothing wrong. On May, 1 2011 the U.S forces of 25 men caught him then killed him, becasue he refused to surrender. The world now is a better place without him, and we all should feel safer now.

“Osama bin Laden is dead”

Chelsey S.
Ten years after the devastating attack known as 911, justice has been done. On May 1, 2011 U.S. helicopters ferrying elite counter terrorism troops into the compound identified by the CIA as Bin Laden’s hideout. U.S troops went in and shot Bin Laden after he and his bodyguards resisted the assault. Three adult males were also killed in the raid, including one of bin Laden’s sons. One of Bin Laden’s sons, Hamza, is a senior member of al Qaeda. U.S. officials also said one woman was killed when she was used as a shield by a male combatant, and two other women were injured. With the death of Osama Bin Laden and the fact that U.S troops passed over into Pakistan; I feel Pakistan will feel threatened along with the many who looked up to Bin Laden, causing a result in retaliation and hatred.

I think there should be more coverage about the death of Osama than the royal wedding. The royal wedding isn’t a main event that his going to benefit or harm the U.S., however, the death of Osama Bin Laden is a big event for the U.S. We have been searching for him for countless years and finally found him. Also, the death of him could cause a retaliation which wouldn’t be good for the U.S. The U.S. needs to think more about things that could happen to the U.S. and not that the prince of England is getting married.

Osama Bin Laden Dead

Osama Bin Laden was killed by U.S. Special forces on May 1, 2011. The Special forces team located Bin Laden inside his mansion in Pakistan. Once killed, the body of Bin Laden was taken to be buried in the sea. I believe that this was a great happening, although it may lead to further and far greater acts of retaliation by the Pakistan and Afghanistan people, because we have finally found the man we have been searching for for ten years.
