In the past week a lot of history has been made. The Royal Wedding has occured and the death of Osama Bin Laden. Both events are huge in the United States right now but I think the Royal Wedding is going to get more attention than the death of Osama Bin Laden. In my opinion I think that the death of Osama Bin Laden should get more attention than the Royal Wedding, because our troops are over their fighting for years and he has been a major threat to the U.S. Now since he has been killed he won’t be able to brian wash all the people over there and get them to follow him.

My name is Ramie M and I am a junior at NBHS. I’m in Mr. Sal’s period 1 class. I was a part of the German Empire.
My team spent our economic points cautiously, because we wanted to get a good strategy. My team bought industry and colonies for the first couple rounds because that way we would get more money back each round. We bought colonies so we were able to make alliances with other Empires. Once my group had alot of money saved we were able to buy navy and army with the extra money we had.
My Empire made treaties with the France Empire and USA and agreed to not go to war with them. So we didn’t and we combined our Empires together to make us stronger. No my Empire did not break any treaties because we didn’t want to go to war and we wanted to make our Empire stronger.
I am pleased with my Empire’s out come because since we were smart and made treaties with other Empires it got us far and mad us a stonger Empire. I’m pleased with German, France, and USA Empire’s because we won the war against all the other Empires.
I wouldn’t do anything differently because my team made good alliances and won war with the other Empires. Since we won theie truthfully isn’t anything I would do differently.
I have a better understanding about diplomacy, because I learned that I have to go over to other countries to make treaties. To not die and to survive in the world.

Hey my name is Ramie M. I am in Mr. Sal’s 20th century class period 1. I am writing about Crime. Crime is an action or an instance of negligence that is deemed injurious to the public welfare or morals or to the interests of the state and that is legally prohibited. Crime is something every country has and is world wide. Today’s crime is a lot worse than in the 1890’s.
Today’s crime mostly deals with violence and drugs. Like most people today are caught with illegal drugs and that is a big crime. Also, violence plays a big role in crime. Most people are put to jail. Police officers, Presidents, and people tried to prevent these things from happening but it didn’t work. In the 1890’s most of the crime delt with stealing which mostly revolved around the poor people cause they didn’t have the money to buy certain things so it made them have to steal. Hanging people and torturing them was a big problem. Also, race was a big issue back then which made the whites and blacks fight over different things. The civil rights came into play and tryed to stop these bad things , and the goverment also tryed to stop the crimes. In my oppinion I don’t think you can fix crime because no matter what happens it takes people to want to change and stop doing the things they do.

Hey my name is Ramie M and I am a junior and go to NBHS. I am in Salvucci’s 20th century period 1. I expect to learn in 20th century about the Vitinam War, bacause my pappy fought in that war, and i would also exspect to learn more about the Great Depression, because I would like to learn why it was such a bad thing for our country. I expect to learn more about how to use the ipod touches, because I’m not really good with them. I get very impatient with them. The second thing about technology I would like to learn is more about the smart boards in class, because I think they’re cool and would be neat to learn how to use. In 20th century I expect to learn about those that were listed and those of the technology that was listed also.
