Coach Yoast was told that he would be put into the Hall of Fame, but only after the Titans’ lost their game. Them saying that was implying that they wanted Coach Boone gone. The only reason they did not want Coach Boone around was because of his color and Yoast obviously did not tthink it was fair and did what he wanted. By not “throwing” the game and getting Boone fired showed that Yoast was a very good person. And also, because of the fact that he gave up being in the Hall of Fame we realized how much of a self-less person he was.

In Anthem, the council people act as dictators, they do enslave the citizens and destroy their minds; the council pretty much brain-washed every single person living there. They keep things from them such as electricity and learning. By doing this, they keep the society at a lower and less intelligent level. The citizens are told what to do constantly; they have no say in what jobs they have, where they live or even their names. They do this because they want they want the people to think of themselves as a whole, the council men strive to get everybody else to do what they want them to do. They do not let the people in the society know certain things; they are forbidden to say “I” and be on their own. They forbid many other things, they also scare the citizens into “behaving” by saying that if they do something wrong they will be damned.

When Jullius Campbell finally makes it to the hospital after Gary Bertier’s accident everyone is near tears. He speaks with Mrs. Bertier and starts to cry… Mrs. Bertier tells him that “those tears are not gonna make my boy walk again.” By saying that, she means that she wants Julius to stay strong. She does not want him crying if it is not going to help. She needs him to be strong because he can act as a role model and maybe others will stay strong too.

Hi , my name is Haley and I’m in Mr. Sal’s period 8 civics class . For my groups project we each took pictures of nature . We each were to take at least 4 pictures , two in the morning of two different objects then two in the afternoon or night of those same two objects . We chose this sort of project because we thought it would be fun to look at nature and the light catching what’s going on. Beautiful . If I changed anything about our project , it would probably be for each of us to take more pictures because I thought taking them was fun .

My name is Haley , I’m 14 and in Mr. Sal’s period 8 honors economics class . Our class has been using iPod touches to go on edmodo.com and other sites . We are going to use these iPods throughout the year for posts on here and also to take notes in the classroom . While in this class I wish to excell on all my quizzes , tests and homework assignments . I’d like to learn about more about the history of New Brighton , that would be cool and I might even want to learn some things about our government . I guess that’s all I really have to say about Mr. Sal’s class . Bye !
