Osama bin Laden’s death affects the united states by the familys of those who were killed on 9/11 feel that they have finally brought the person who was responsible to justis. Also, i beleive that all americans feel safer and feel that we are gaining the upper hand on terrorism. Although the Al Qaeda will most likley have someone to take his place and continue, America will continue there war againt them. It will affect the Al Qaeda by hopefully making them realize that we will never give up on our fight to protect America from them. It will hopefully put a whole in there organization by loosing there leader and hopefully a financial one as well.

Hello, my name is Amanda K, in Mr. Sal’s period 3. Negitive externalities is something that causes problems for third parties. For example, gases that cause thinning of the ozone layer or somke that causes acid rain. This is not just effecting one person, but everyone. Therefore, restriction are created by the govrnment to reduce or band certain thing that go into some things that we buy, like aerosol cans, or require a company to filter out smoke before it is released. Positive externalities is something that is beificial to you and others. For example, by getting the flu shot, you are protecting yourself form the posiblity of catching the virus as well as spreading it to others. Citizens that are beter educated are also beifit others because less crime is likely to happen if people can go out and get job. The govrnment tries to encourage you getting an education by providing posibilities to. I believe that the govrnment can control the amount of both positive and negitive externalities by keeping up restrictions and providing ways that allow citizens to benifit themselves and other.

Hi my name is Amanda K in econ/POD. For my one day on earth project I took pictures of different businesses such as, gas stations, car shops, and stores. I chose to do this to see what people were doing as far as getting their car fixed to getting suplies from stores. This was not a project that I liked because I am not that talented on the computer and was not sure how I was suppose to make the pictures into some type of video. With help I was at least able to make a simple video out of my ten pictures. The one thing I would have liked to change, is the fact of how simple the video was.

Hi my name is Amanda K and I am in Econ/POD pd. 3. In this class i would like to learn about personal finacing. Being in my last year of high school and going to start collage I will have to learn how to be on my own. Learning how to do all of this now will help prepare me for the future. I would also like to know about Civil Rights. Knowing what rights I have will prepare me from being discriminated over something I believe in. Using the iPod in class helps me see the different technology that is being created and how many things are now touch screen. Using the internet to look up different things and using the blogs and wikispaces shows me the many ways people use websites to put thing on display.
