Hey I’m Tyler M. from Sal’s period 6 class. In the WWI game, I was in the Ottoman Empire. When spending our economic points we started out buying a little of everything. We started buying more Colonies, but found out if we get attacked that we lose them. So after we had found that out we started buying more navies than anything because navies count as 2 times what the army’s are. When the game first started out, we went and tried to make as many treaties as possible. We made treaties with Great Britain, Russia, and Germany because they were the big countries and we figured if we could befriend them that they would have our back for anything. We didn’t break any treaties but everyone (except for Great Britain) broke there treaties with us. I am very pleased with my country’s outcome because we played good and only got attacked once. If I could go back and change something, I’d probably change the fact that we bought a lot of colonies and I would have bought way more navies and armies. I now have a better understanding on how diplomacy works in the world because I now understand how people attack each other and how just one county attacking another and turn into a complete world war.
