Was the assassination of the terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden a good thing or bad? Some people believe that there will be attacks from other terrorist to show retaliation for the assassination on their leader, Such as another attack on American Soil. This can mean change for the American troops, because they have no reason to stay in the Middle East. There will be a lot of countries pulling out of the War on Terrorism. Us as Americans can now start to focus on events happening on our own soil instead of trying to be the police of the world. Americans can have comfort knowing that the one responsible for all of the deaths on 9-11-2001 has served justice.

How did you spend your economic points, and why?                                                                  Our country spent all of our economic points on Industries and the navy. Reasoning that we spent the points on them is that the navy gave us two defenses and the Industries gave us more points for defense then the army did.

Who did you make treaties with and why? Did you break any treaties and why?                       The Austrian Hungarian Empire made some treaties with great Britten, and with the United States. Promising that when we went to war with other countries, that we would split the profits. No treaties were broken on our part, but war was declared on us by all the other countries at once. Great Britten pulled out all at once. Then the United States crumbled, leaving us the option to combine with them thus, making our country bigger.

Are you pleased with your countries outcome why or why not? What would you do differently and why?                                                                                                                                                   No, I can’t quite say that we were pleased with our outcome, because our country fell and making our country no more. If we could do it all over again I would invest solely on industries and navy.

Did you have a better understanding of how diplomacy works in the world? Why or why not?  Yes, I do have a better understanding on how countries work in the world, because all of the countries started taking sides once the first war broke out and eventually it was one-forth of the room to three-fourths of the room.

Hi my name is Chad R. And I am from Mr. Sal’s period 9 20th century class. The topic that I chose to talk about is “child labor” child labor was looked at as a bad thing. Child labor can be good because you can have things made faster and cheaper, larger quanty, and pay them less. The negatives of child labor are that you have unsanantary conditions, unsafe conditions, and untrained personal.

Child labor was used in the early 1900’s because there were no regulations restricting companies, business from working young children on long hours at a time. In all 50 states it is now illegal to work children under the age of 15 due to fedral laws. These laws went into effect in the min 1900’s due to congress passing many various forms of anti child labor laws. Even today you still see child labor laws in effect. For example in my personal life,I work at a local grocery store and every month my time card is checked to make sure I don’t have more then 35 hours a week.

So in conclusion child labor has its pros and cons. It just so happens the the cons out weigh the pros. For this reason the United States can’t use child labor. Other countries in the world still use child labor. Due to Federal Laws the states are not allowed to participate in the use of child labor.

This year I want to learn In the 20th century class is major events that occurred in the 20th century. And events that had an impact on things that we do today. I’m pretty good with the technology that we are using. Reasoning that I want to learn about events is because I like knowing things that happened in that past and how it has changed to course of history.
