There has been a lot of news coverage on “The Royal Wedding” of Prince Will of England and Ms. Kate Middleton of England. They end up getting married in London, and it was really unique because it was the first wedding since the year of 1981. In my opinion I feel that Americans are very interested in the whole thing because we are very nosy, it could effect us in the long run, it is history in the making, and it does not happen every day. Their wedding was a lot different then “our” traditional weddings. There were people still standing as they were doing their vowels, there was a small bridal party that consisted of one for the bride and one for the groom, there were not many flowers unlike how a bride here would carry a bouquet of flowers, and they did not kiss right after they got pronounced husband and wife. I feel that the royal wedding was so “important” to us because it was something that does not really happen at all that much. There was a lot of news coverage on the wedding and there still is today, and in my opinion it is a good thing because we need to know about everything going on in the world, not just things that concern us.

Hello, my name is Jenna M. and I’m in Mr. Sal’s ninth period 20th century class. We played a game that had several empires and I was apart of Great Britain.
As a group myself and teammates used all of our economic points to buy more navy because in the end they doubled and were worth more than all of the others.
We made treaties with Austria-Hungarian Empire and the United States because they had the same amount of power as us and they agreed to split half of their profits with us and also help us in war.
We did not break any treaties because we wanted to stay loyal to everyone and we did not want to cause a war between us and our allies.
I am not pleased with our countries outcome because I personally wanted to win, who doesn’t? I think we could have done a lot better and should have immediately bought all navy from the beginning.
I now have a little better understanding of how diplomacy works in the world because I was apart of the whole situation and had to think how to successfully run the country. It made me realize some of what I didn’t before.

My name is Jenna M. from Mr. Sal’s ninth period 20th century class. There were a lot of problems in 1890, but one I find really eye catching is social problems. People started having social disagreements because of growth, they disliked eachother (immigrants), and they started to find other ways to start making a better income. What social problems simply means is the dispute between others in a living area. Everyone all together were not getting a long because of the growth and because they needed ways to find better paying jobs. Dr. Herman Biggs was a part of the devision of Pathology, Bacteriology, and Disinfection back around the 1880’s, and he helped people all over New York by showing them why all of the problems had to be fixed. His work helped a little bit but not much, people still didn’t care about others and still fought over places to live, and jobs to feed their families.

My names Jenna and I’m from Mr. Sals 20th century class. I’d like to learn about past wars and what’s going on in he government as of right now. My expectations for the technology is to learn how to use it better so I can handle it on my own and I wouldn’t need anyone to walk me through it. I also want to learn how to do things on the iPod quicker. Those are only a few of my expectations but they are the most important ones.
