The Royal Wedding was for Prince William and Kate Middleton. It was the first royal wedding since 1981 which is when Prince Charles married Princess Diana. The wedding took place in London. The queen and the duke attended. A lot of magazine corpoations and television shows (like E!) were invited to the wedding. I think this wedding got a lot of publicity with Americans and other countries because the USA doesn’t have a king or queen and it interest us to see a prince get married. I think that we were so obsessed with the wedding because we like to stick our noses in every one elses business. Other than that I believe the wedding was a very nice wedding and I hope the couple happiness.

Hello, I’m Martika R. from Mr.Sal’s 9th period, 20th Century Class. The empire I was for this game was Great Britian.
For our group we used our economic points for navy. We used them for navy to become more powerful in war and build more for our empire.
We made treaties with the United States and Austria-Hungarian Empire. We made treaties with them because they had the same power as us and some of the navy, army, etc. were better than ours but some weren’t.
We didn’t break any treaties because we wanted to stay loyal and didn’t really want a whole lot of treaties with any other country. We didn’t want to deal with other peoples wars and problems.
I am not pleased with my countries outcome because I believe we could’ve did better without making treaties with the countries we chose, we could’ve been better off making better treaties or not making treaties at all.
I wouldn’t make treaties at all and I would’ve attacked countries before they became more powerful and before anyone made treaties. I would’ve made treaties with some other countries and I would’ve spent my economic points differently.
I do have a better understanding on how diplomacy works in the world. I understand how difficult it is to have to keep treaties and how hard it is to keep other countries in treaties without breaking them.

Hello, I’m Tika R. from Mr. Sal’s ninth period 20th Century History class. Social Problems were associated with a lot of crime, loss of jobs, and some people believed that cities were threatening. Social Problems is defined as the range of conditions and aberrant behaviors which are held to be manifestions of social disorganization and to warrant changing. One of the problems was that people worked in the cities and got very little pay so they had to work other jobs and some jobs were illegal. Another problem was that apartments had no source of fresh air and the structure of them were built in dumbbell form (I); they had dangerous air shafts. Robert M. LaFollette tried to fix some of the social problems. He opposed schemes for heavier taxing on large buildings to cover the cost of conflict. LaFollette discovered the oil scandal and campaigned for public ownership of railroads and utilities. I believe this helped some of the social problems because with people losing their jobs they could turn into thieves and steal oil.

My name is Martika, I’m in Mr.Sals history class. My expectations are really to learn about why were really at war and why we haven’t tried to stop the war altogether. My expectations about the technology are that they should get easier to use and get use too. Also that the technology should be for the students to be open to all the time.
