Osama Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden is on the FBI’s most wanted for a long time, and now they finally got him. He was reponsible for the attacks on Septemper 11, 2001 and bombing  in London, France and Spain. He had the whole entire world pretty much after him. The mideastern countries had a different idea of him. They thought he was good and did nothing wrong. On May, 1 2011 the U.S forces of 25 men caught him then killed him, becasue he refused to surrender. The world now is a better place without him, and we all should feel safer now.

Tuskegee Airmen

Nate S  Brandon R

The Tuskegee Airmen formed when African Americans wanted to be pilots for the United States Army. They wanted to be pilots because they were from the United States and they wanted to serve their homeland like every other pilot. The African Americans went to training to learn basic flying maneuvers. When the African Americans became certified war pilots, they were called the “Tuskegee Airmen” due to them becoming pilots while segregation being present. After they became certified war pilots, they were sent to war with people who were racist and did not appreciate the African Americans’ service. Through out the war, attitudes changed towards the African race when one of the Tuskegee Airmen fought with an American bomber against the enemies. Then after this, the white American pilots wanted to be escorted by the “Tuskegee Airmen” because they realized that the “Tuskegee Airmen” are as equal as the white American pilots. The legacy that was created was the African Americans overcoming segregation and people realizing that Africans Americans are the same as white Americans. After this people saw Africans Americans just as equal as white Americans.

WW1 Game

Hey Mr. Sal it’s Nathan S. from your period 6 class. I was part of the United States empire. We spent our economic points buying, navies, and industries. We did this so we have more points to spend.

We made treaties with two counties. They were Germany and France. We wanted to be with them because their powerful countries. We as a empire did not break any treaties. I personality did like the outcome of our country. We did good but i wanted to take over the whole world. I would make more treaties with other countries to have more power.

From this project i now have a better understanding on how diplomacy works in the world. I learned that if you have countries that got your back then your’ll be good in the end. I liked playing this game, and i hope we can play a World War 2 game.

Cost of living

Hi I’m Nate S from Mr. Sal’s pd. 6 class. I choose cost of living for my blog assignment.  The cost of living in the early 1900’s was high for the  amount of space givento the people. The average person per room back then was 1.9. The cost of living back then was cheaper because of the depression, but most people did.t have alot of money. For the low amount of pay given the worker had to go through hard times to get little money.

Their were some reformers that helped with this issue by providing necessary  items and survaces to the poor. Jane Addam’s opened the Hull House to provide a babysitting program and education to the poor. In the 1900’s the American dollar was worth more then it is today because the government is printing more money, therefore making the American money worth less. I really didn’t like this project , just for the simlpe fact as, I was confused of what i was doing, and it’s not my thing. I learned that I’m so happy that I’m living now then back then becasue it seemed like it was tough to live back then.

My expectations

I want to leran more about the United States because its where i’m from. Another thing i wanna learn in here is more about the presidents because i don’t know alot about them. My expectations for the ipods to get better with them, because  i don’t have one and it’s new to me. Another expectation is to do better at bloging.
